Bridging talks from Experimental Medicine, Clinical Research to Hemodynamics simulations, Mechano biology and Biophysics - we aimed to have a broad discussion revolving around the topic of how the vasculature and immune response are intertwined.</p>

<p>Additionally, we had Paul Kubes as our Spinoza Speaker inspiring us with three talks in 3 subsequent days about in vivo imageing to see the immune system in real time!</p>

<p>It was a fantastic exchang and we can’t wait for the second round of such meetings!</p>

My research will take place within the <a href="https://vascularimmunology.nl"> Vascular Immunology Synergy Group</a>, in which I help coordinate the exchange of 8 very scientifically diverse research groups.</p>

I am beyond happy to have had such a blast during the defense and the day before with our <a href="https://www.fluidlab.nl/padm25">workshop on Physics of Adaptation </a> including speakers Ray Goldstein, Sujit Datta, Mirna Kramar, Ben Larson, Tom Shimizu and me - and a discussion moderated by Greg Stephens.</p>
